Baseline is a financial tracking tool, not a financial advisor. Bank connections are read-only. You must be 18 and a US resident. Pro is $4.99 monthly or $34.99 annually through the App Store, cancellable any time.
By accessing or using the Baseline app, website, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all users, including visitors to baseline-financial.com and registered users of the Baseline iOS application.

Baseline does not execute trades, manage assets, or provide personalized investment recommendations. Always consult a qualified professional for financial decisions.
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to use the Service. By using Baseline, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Baseline uses Plaid Technologies, Inc. to facilitate connections to your financial institutions. By using our bank-linking features, you also agree to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy at plaid.com/legal.
Baseline does not store your bank credentials. All authentication with financial institutions occurs through Plaid's encrypted infrastructure. We receive only the data Plaid provides to us on your behalf. Data accessed via Plaid may include:
All Plaid connections are read-only. Baseline cannot initiate transactions, transfers, or trades on your behalf. Plaid is SOC 2 Type II certified, and you may disconnect any linked account at any time from the app’s Settings.

The Baseline name, logo, app, website, and all associated content are owned by Baseline Financial and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding, trademarks, or content without prior written permission.
Your personal financial data remains yours. We claim no ownership over the financial information synced to your account.
Free access. Baseline is free to download and use. Core features — including bank sync, transaction tracking, budgets, and basic AI — are available at no cost.
Pro subscriptions. Baseline offers optional Pro subscriptions with enhanced features, both auto-renewing:
Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store. Charges occur at the start of each billing period. You may cancel at any time through your Apple ID settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@baseline-financial.com.
Program overview. Baseline offers a referral program where users can earn free Pro subscription time by referring friends who successfully link their bank accounts.
Eligibility. To earn referral rewards, you must have an active Baseline account. Referred users must be new to Baseline and must successfully link a bank account. Referral rewards are limited to a maximum of 3 redemptions per calendar year (3 months of Pro total) and are not available to existing Pro subscribers.
How it works. You receive a unique referral code to share with friends. When 3 referred users link their bank accounts, you earn 1 month of Pro. Rewards expire 30 days after redemption.
To maintain a fair program, you may not:
Program changes. We reserve the right to modify or terminate the referral program at any time, revoke rewards obtained through fraudulent means, update program terms and limits, and investigate suspicious referral activity.
Tax implications. Depending on your jurisdiction, referral rewards may be considered taxable income. You are solely responsible for any applicable taxes.
User-generated content. Baseline allows you to add friends and view their financial achievements, post to activity feeds, react and comment on others’ posts, and participate in challenges with friends.
Content ownership. You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant Baseline Financial a non-exclusive license to display, store, and distribute your content within the app.
You agree not to post content that:

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Baseline Financial shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $100 if you have paid nothing).
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it to understand our data practices.
You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by emailing support@baseline-financial.com. We will process deletion within 30 days.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we discontinue the Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Texas.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
